Emily McGinley

Emily joined Efficient Markets in 2018 and currently serves as the Director of Business Development for the Mid-Continent, Texas Panhandle, Northern Louisiana, and Western U.S. regions. She offices in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Emily earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. She began her career as a Landman at Devon Energy Corporation, specializing in Mid-Continent asset development, where she spent five successful years. Emily then transitioned to Devon's Acquisitions and Divestitures group, where she spent another five years. During her tenure in A&D, she was involved with multiple transactions, covering assets in several basins - the value of which exceeded fourteen billion dollars.

Emily is an active member of Oklahoma Energy Explorers, The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma, ADAM-OKC, Oklahoma City Association of Petroleum Landmen, and American Association of Professional Landmen. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband JP and two daughters, Mayson and Meritt. She serves as a board member for the Wes Welker Foundation, which influences at-risk youth, through athletics and positive role models. On Sundays, Emily can be found volunteering with kids at her church. In 2021, she began volunteering with Ground Zero Canines, a non-profit which trains search and rescue dogs to assist in natural and man-made disasters.
