Seller Account

Asset sales on the Efficient Markets platform are conducted via an online auction or sealed bid process via its FINRA-registered broker entity EnergyNet.com, LLC (“EnergyNet”). EnergyNet is a Texas limited liability company that operates as part of the Efficient Markets family of companies. EnergyNet is a separate legal entity and is the sole contracting and regulated party for the Seller’s Agreement.

To list a property for sale, you are first required to create a Seller account and agree to the Efficient Markets Seller’s Agreement for the Sale of Oil and Gas Properties. Once your account has been created, you will then complete a property data sheet for each property you wish to sell.

We encourage you as a new seller to contact your business development representative to assist with your divestment, or contact our support staff for assistance, toll free at (877) 351-4488.

Buyer Account

Users may create an account to participate either in Efficient Markets’ private sector auctions for oil and gas interests, or in federal and state government offerings, real estate, alternative energy, and other commodities listings.

When creating a Buyer account, you may choose between a Basic Asset Offerings account or an All Asset Offerings account. An All Asset Offerings account allows the buyer to participate in all sales on the Efficient Markets platform and requires that the buyer meets and agrees to certain SEC and FINRA guidelines, including certifying that they are accredited investors with industry experience. A Basic Asset Offerings account may only participate in government, real estate, and alternative energy offerings, although the account can easily be updated to the All Asset Offerings account at any time. If you wish to create an account as a buyer, or if you create an account as a viewer and later wish to participate in bidding, you will be required to agree to the Efficient Markets Buyer’s Agreement to Purchase Properties and submit your bank information to apply for a bid allowance. You may submit your agreement or bank information any time after completing this account creation process by logging in and following the instructions on your Buyer’s Homepage.
